Client Services Manager

Founded in 2013, locally owned and operated, EDGE Building Services, Inc offers clients environmentally friendly, full scope janitorial services. In addition to standard janitorial programs, EDGE offers complimentary services including floor care, carpet cleaning, glass cleaning, pressure washing, jr. engineering along with other building maintenance services. EDGE has successfully gained its position in the marketplace primarily through positive client referrals and word-of-mouth advertisement. Who We Are Looking For:
The Client Services Manager is our single point of contact for their assigned accounts and is responsible for customer retention through relationship building and account management. They have a great attitude, typically have a customer service background, they enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where organization is key.
How You Can Help Us Grow:
Maintain close customer communication to ensure services are delivered according to contract specifications and client expectations
Conduct routine inspections; relay observations to EDGE Management, Operations personnel and/or property management in accordance with quality control initiatives
Generate work orders as needed to address client requests and/or resolve service deficiencies
Perform consistent follow-up with property management, tenants and EDGE Operations staff to minimize and ultimately eliminate recurring issues
Identify additional service opportunities – propose to client, define/schedule jobs with Operations and track completion for customer follow-up and billing purposes
Proactively recommend strategies to property management in an effort to increase revenue and solidify client relationships
Lead and/or provide assistance in new building start-ups; document client/tenant specifications and update as needed
Cultivate business leads by building rapport with new and existing clients based on accountability and a commitment to excellence in all facets of client services
Your Background:
Dedication to always servicing commercial real estate clients in a professional and consistent manner.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with established priorities, work independently and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision – all while maintaining attention to detail
Strong emphasis on verbal and written communication skills
Serve as a positive role model and leader for both field and office staff
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and the ability to use personal computers
Social, ability to connect with internal and external contacts easily adapting their personality to fit the environment they are in.
Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion for the clients, tenants and others they meet.
Key experience; hospitality, retail, sales (in person preference, not just behind the computer).
Understanding this job isn’t based in the office but is heavily in the field/ in front of people.
Problem solver with the ability to calm people down when issues are brought up and complete follow through via communication and action.
Organized and proactive. Has the ability/ passion to keep themselves organized. They should be going to the Client, not the Client following up with them.
Prior Account Manager or Customer Service experience preferred
Valid Driver’s License
